"In Sweden a 27-year-old man from Stockholm was recently sentenced to 21 months in prison for aggravated fraud and robbery. His crime? He claimed he was a famous rock star and managed to swindle nearly 250,000 kronor ($36,300) from unsuspecting victims. Sometimes he claimed to be a member of Coldplay or Culture Beat. "Tomorrow I will play the first of 17 concerts in seven countries in 25 days. These are the final concerts of 2009 (it's been quite a year!), and great to start this tour knowing that half of these club concerts have been sold-out for quite some time. We'll be performing in Luxemburg (for the first time ever), Belgium, The Netherlands (the last Dutch club concerts with this album), Austria (first club concerts), Switzerland (where we'll also play 1 radio event and 1 tv-show), Italy (2 introduction concerts), and we end the tour in Finland. "In the last 18 days me and my band played 13 concerts in Germany, Denmark, Sweden, and Austria. Now we are a bit tired. I'm very proud that such a great group of musicians wants to perform with me every night. Here's a picture backstage of Freddy, Tommy, George, me, Nina, and Jay-P. Next stop: Portugal on Monday."

"The last 4 days were pretty quiet, but tonight we leave again with the (new) tourbus (picture below). And now a very busy schedule is coming up. The next twelve days I will be in: Berlin, Baden-Baden, Brussels, Copenhagen, Lille, Paris, Lausanne, Zurich, and Helsinki. Nine cities and six countries in twelve days. Cool"

"On September 5 I had two (radio-)festivals in Germany in one day. The first one in Berlin (with just Tom, Nina, Joris), the second one in Oschersleben (with full band & crew). There really was only one way to make it in time: a private jet! Rock 'n' roll :-) Pictures below"

"Sooo much has happened in the last couple of months, but sooo little time to write about it here. I'll try to catch up. On August 15 we performed at a big festival in Switzerland: Open Air Gampel. On the way over there we had a problem with our tourbus (again!). The drivers got lost and the bus got stuck in a very narrow turn in the mountains, in the middle of some vineyards (apparently, we were not the only ones who got lost, read about it here). Result: the engine broke down while trying to manoeuvre its way out of there, and we had to be picked up by minivans of the festival to make it in time to the festival.
